Good thoughts here! I have lost touch with my son and his family for about 5 years until recently. He just had his first child and is looking for advice and wants to become close again.

Good post, tips! Yet, I just want to add that parents should be careful what books/stories they would choose for their kids, they shouldn't be too scary if the kids are too young, or too childish if the kids are older? Indeed, stories could be one of the best ways to educate kids, I remember how inspired a friend of mine was by Rocky I, when we were at school, he woke up every morning at 6 o'clock and ran and trained for an hour before school just because he wanted to be like his hero from the movie! Two kids of a friend of mine began to take a good care of their health and do exercises every day, just because they were inspired by the many adventures and way of life of the heroes from my Tale Of The Rock Pieces. Even now, when they are youngsters, they don't smoke and drink strong drinks, something which no teacher or school manual could make them do!
